　　Purpose: To study the technique and the value of mulitslice CT(MSCT) in acute upper cervical trauma(AUCT).

　　Revised: To evaluate the diagnostic value of mulitslice CT(MSCT) in/for acute upper cervical trauma (AUCT).

　　Methods: Twenty-five patients with AUCT were undergone MSCT scanning with 1mm collimation, 50% overlapping reconstruction. And multiplanar reconstruction(MPR), 3-dimensional shaded-surface display(3D-SSD) and volume rendering(VR) were applied. The fracture, location, and ligament injury were analyzed.
