1. Mask

It is important for you to create a Mask Prescription in Encore Pro whenever a new mask is delivered to a patient. Encore Pro tracks the type and age of the mask from the Mask Prescription. If you do not create a Mask Prescription for a patient, the mask type is listed as NA on the report and the mask age remains zero

2. Compliance

(1)The compliance view is displayed at the top of the patient's record and shows the last seven days of recorded patient data. The green or red bar at the top indicates whether or not the patient is in compliance.

(2)This report displays a summary of the usage information from a compliance download. The AHI (ApneaHypopnea Index) and all available long-term trend statistics are included.

(3)Some Respironics therapy devices display compliance information. The patient can phone-in the compliance data, and you can enter it into their patient record.

3. Pressure

(1)The Units of Pressure setting specifies the units (cm H20 or hPa) that appear on reports and windows in association with pressure values.

(2)A non-responsive apneahypopnea flag is generated when a patient has apneas and or hypopneas that do not respond to increased pressure from a pressure therapy device.
